Winter Prospect Days
The Guilford College softball team will be hosting Prospect Day’s on Sunday, January 18th and/or Monday, January 19th from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm (Pick one day or the other unless you want to attend both days). To participate, the athlete must be in grades 7-12. The cost to participate is $80, and the last day to sign up is January 17th, or until the camp is full.
This one day camp will provide an opportunity to work with our coaching staff and student-athletes as we mimic what an everyday practice looks like at Guilford College. We will provide opportunities for players to receive defensive instruction at their primary position - including pitching, catching, infield, and outfield skill work. The camp will also include an emphasis on offensive instruction. The day will conclude with an opportunity for campers to showcase their skills through game play. Throughout the day, campers will have the chance to interact with current members of the Guilford College softball team and gain insight into their experiences as a collegiate student-athlete. The day will conclude with an optional campus tour.
What to bring: Softball gear, water bottle, tennis shoes/turfs
