Summer Prospect Day
The Guilford College softball team will be hosting our Summer Prospect Day on August 23rd OR 24th from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM. To participate, the athlete must be in grades 7-12. The cost to participate is $80, and the last day to sign up is the day before camp, or until the camp is full (max 40 participants).
This camp will provide an opportunity to work with our coaching staff and student-athletes as we mimic what an everyday practice looks like at Guilford College. We will provide opportunities for players to receive defensive instruction at their primary position - including pitching, catching, infield, and outfield skill work. The camp will also include an emphasis on offensive instruction. The camp will conclude with an opportunity for campers to showcase their skills through game play. Campers will have the chance to interact with current members of the Guilford College softball team and gain insight into their experiences as a collegiate student-athlete. The camp will conclude with an optional campus tour.
